Our Region

The Municipal Sports Directorate in the municipality has two sports teams, one in the municipal seat and the other in the town of San Pedro, with a workforce of 136 teachers, 58 graduates and 78 middle technicians. Each combination has its 100% -covered Board of Directors all have experience in sports work, which contributes to the proper development of sport in the municipality. It serves an objective population of 20,651 people distributed in 5 Popular Councils with a total of 38 constituencies, 5 of them independent with 25 educational centers, having a population incorporated into the practice of sport of 10,775 practitioners, which represents 52% of the total of the population.
