Our Region

In general, it performs the following functions:

1.     Carry out studies of the dynamic situation of Citma's activity in the territory.
2.      He participates in the formulation of the C-T research programs and projects carried out totally or partially in the entities of his municipality.
3.      Organizes and executes state inspections, supervision and controls on the entities of the Territory.
4.      Verify the progress of all C-T processes that are carried out in the territory.
5.     It develops and proposes the measures to be applied in situations of natural disasters, industrial accidents or others that endanger the safety of the community.
6.      It prepares technical opinions in order to recommend, without departing from our environmental and ecological culture, the possible solutions to all the problems detected during the course of its work.
7.      Carry out global or specific diagnoses with the aim of knowing specifically the situation that represents the activity of the organism in the territory, a certain entity or sphere of care as the case may be.
8.      It performs alone or in conjunction with other specialists, comprehensive or specialized forecasts aimed at predicting the level of development of the multiple activities collected within the sphere of attention of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment.
9.      Evaluates the contribution and impact of Science, Technology and the Environment in improving the living conditions of the population and economic recovery in the town.
10.     Organizes and technically advises the Science and Technology Forum,
11.      Carry out the evaluation and the feasibility of introducing the Scientific - Technical results individually or as part of a group.
12.     Prepare reports for any of the levels of management of the Agency or the Municipal Administration Council.
13.     It issues verbal or written criteria in response to requests that local, provincial or national authorities make to it in its sphere of competence.
14.     It analyzes, following the environmental policy of the organization, the investment proposals that are projected in the territory.
15.     Carries out the evaluation of the application of all regulations for environmental protection, conservation of natural resources and nuclear and biological safety.
16.     Plans and executes the works that give continuity to the existing technical recommendations on the management, conservation and supervision of soils, hydrographic basins and biosphere.
17.     He participates in Work Commissions of the Municipal Administration Council and in events and meetings that are territorially coordinated as a representative of Citma in charge of carrying out its missions and work directives at that level.
18.     He uses various techniques, methods and procedures to determine parameters and variables that bear witness to the behavior of technical aspects that are inextricably linked to his work.
19.     Study and control the balances of the biodiversity of the different areas of interest in which the territory is divided and enforce the necessary regulations according to their corresponding specificities.
20.     It supports territorial productive activities linked to the application of biotechnology, genetic engineering, microbiology, and biochemistry and other related disciplines.
21.     It carries out actions for the promotion and dissemination of the activities of the organization and its application.
22.     It organizes, coordinates and teaches seminars, conferences, talks and courses in order to facilitate the study of advanced knowledge related to your specific work sphere or other specialties.
23.     In addition to the tasks that derive from the fulfillment of the functions described in this job content, he performs others that are related to his job.
24.     Actively participate in the dissemination and organization of the processes for convening the Scientific Technical Programs, and the presentation of research and technological innovation projects, and once these are approved, in the evaluation and control of their execution ”
