Our Region

1- Francisco Toledo Aldazábal for participating in relevant events in National History, and tasks of strategic importance for the Defense of National Sovereignty. For his contribution to the food production of the municipality and maintaining exemplary revolutionary behavior.

2- Pedro Pablo Cabello Smith for his important contribution from the FAR in the fulfillment of important national events, and from the reserve in tasks for the defense of national sovereignty in Los Arabos. For his revolutionary activism around the CDRs, and in food production.

3- Osvaldo Díaz Díaz for representing the country and the municipality in international events, contributing to the training of athletes and plastic artists, from circles of interest and contests for pioneers, maintaining social conduct in accordance with revolutionary principles and ethical, stand out in the creation of poetic compositions of a patriotic nature which he has presented in competitions and events, being the author of the song to Los Arabos.

4- Ramón Viera Sánchez for his outstanding career and revolutionary career as a Government Panel, District Delegate, and the Cuban Workers' Central in different stages, together with his exemplary citizen conduct.

5-Guillermo Manuel Vázquez Pérez for his outstanding contribution to the cultural development of the municipality by forming in hundreds of children, adolescents and young people an interest in the Plastic Arts, providing one of its distinctive symbols of the municipality, the Coat of Arms of Los Arabos. For his exemplary as a simple and humble revolutionary, dedicated to creative work, even after retired.

6- Santos Luis Duquesne García post morten. For participating in relevant events in National History, the struggles for the liberation of The Congo in the 1960s, and tasks of strategic importance for the Defense of National Sovereignty.
