   The Municipal Library Raúl Roa García aims to promote the reading of the library fund through an efficient service, conserve and restore the bibliographic heritage, develop the program develop the program for reading as a priority of the Revolution, offer the service of the club Minerva in national currency.

  Our fundamental activity is to promote and develop reading. In addition, our institution has carried out numerous activities, it stands out with the workshop for the disabled where the three associations ANCI, ANSOC, ACLIFI, the Bebeteca, the anti-drug program and HIV-AIDS mainly with young people giving talks, conversations with family doctors and nurses, promotion of books, museum and house of culture, the latter also with the elderly.
