Procedures for the acquisition of technical aids

To acquire any modality of the technical aids listed below, the patient must complete the following procedures.

    Oxygen concentrator equipment

    The family doctor will issue the certificate.
    The user to whom the technical assistance was indicated or his representative deliver the medical certificate to the polyclinic social worker, who records it in the registry enabled for this purpose.
    In cases where it is necessary to extend or modify the prescription of technical assistance, the Assisting Physician issues a new certificate, the user or representative presents it to the polyclinic social worker to proceed with its new registration, who signs and coins it overleaf.
    The user or his representative present it directly at the pharmacy for the purpose of renewing the contract. The leasing of technical aids is formalized through a contract between the pharmacy and the user or his representative, taking into account the user's pathology, the type of technical aid and the time of use of the same. The payment of the technical assistance lease is monthly, and may be paid several months in advance.
    When a tenant of technical aid returns the resource before the period established in the contract and for which he paid advanced amounts that at that moment constitute unexpired monthly payments, the administrator of the pharmacy where the payments were made proceeds to the return of the amount to proceed. The refund corresponds only to the full months not elapsed, since the days less than 30, are not computed for these purposes.
    The user is responsible for the deterioration, breakage or loss of the technical assistance leased, as well as the expenses corresponding to its repair or replacement, an aspect that must be agreed in the contract to be signed with the pharmacy.
