The La Literatura bookstore in the municipality of Los Arabos is the institution that is in charge of selling books in order to satisfy the literary needs of the population. The main corporate purpose is the commercialization of books by International, National and Provincial Publishers. It also has a cultural program to end with its corporate purpose that is focused on promoting the books that are for sale.

It has literature of different genres:

     Children's literature
     Literature for young people
     Social political literature
     Scientific technical literature
     Journals
     Titles of the Editorial Cienfueguera Mecenas

Literature carries out reading promotion activities within the institution, it is also inserted in communities and settlements, motivating readers of different ages and encouraging the habit of reading.
