Nursing graduate Luis Lemane Pérez is located in Jamaica, several kilometers from Kinstong, the capital of that country, to which he traveled to collaborate in the fight against covid-19. From there he sent us his statements via the internet.
"The land is strange. I miss my family, my children, my wife, but we will continue fighting against the covid-19 and new happy times will come. For now we need to continue taking the measures: a lot of hand washing, observing the social distance, staying at home. Protecting yourself is essential. See you soon. Ever onward to victory. Overcome"
The statements by Luis Lemane Pérez from Jamaica, the country where the pandemic is fighting, is yet another example of Cuba's willingness to help slow the advance of the disease and to share what we have, honoring the concept of Revolution enunciated by the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, 20 years ago.
