PRESCHOOL TEACHING

Preschool Education aims to achieve the maximum comprehensive development of each boy and girl in early childhood institutions.

Children's Circles were created in 1961 by Vilma Espín Guillois at the request of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz to help working mothers.

What to do to request the Children's Circle:

- Contact the Municipal Directorate of Education on the days of attention to the population (Monday and Friday) and request the application form for enrollment in a children's circle together with the Letter of Update of the Labor Link of the mother or guardian of the minor.

- Fill out and take both documents to the workplace where the minor's mother or guardian works so that it can be endorsed by the immediate boss and the union section of the center.

- Put the legible stamp of the body where the mother or guardian works on both documents.

- If the personnel requesting the children's circle does not work and constitutes a social case, both documents must be endorsed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.

- These documents (application form for enrollment in a children's circle together with the Update Letter of the Labor Link of the mother or guardian of the minor) are delivered to the Municipal Department of Education by the mother or guardian of the minor personally who receives a receipt with one that does not mean ranking only the order of reception.

- The application form for enrollment in children's circles lasts for one year, at the end of it, it is updated again if the children's circle has not been granted.

PRIMARY EDUCATION

Primary Education aims at Primary School to contribute to the integral formation of the scholar's personality, promoting from the first grades the internalization of knowledge and value orientations that are gradually reflected in feelings, ways of thinking and behavior, according to the system of values and ideals of the Socialist Revolution.

The educational level work is aimed at the formation of a reflective, critical and independent child, who adds the increasingly leading role in his performance, who has feelings of love and respect towards the Homeland, his family, his school, his classmates and nature; as well as being a carrier of essential qualities such as responsibility, diligence, honesty and solidarity.

Our municipality has a total of 17 primary schools, 5 are urban and 12 rural.

SPECIAL TEACHING

SECONDARY EDUCATION

Secondary Education aims to contribute to the formation and comprehensive development of the personality of adolescents in their different contexts, with a higher creative level and scientific investigative approach, of systematization and consolidation of their knowledge, skills, habits, feelings, attitudes, Motives, aspirations and ethical and civic components, that allow them to prepare them for life and opt for the continuity of studies.

It develops the comprehensive education of adolescents, sustained by a civic-citizen, economic and environmental care culture that allows them to love and be willing to defend the principles of the Cuban Revolution and contribute to the development of the socialist homeland. .
